Rebekah Kik, Deputy City Manager, City of Kalamazoo
Rebekah Kik serves as Deputy City Manager for the City of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She holds a Master of Architecture from Andrews University and a Postgraduate Degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Notre Dame. Blending expertise in architecture and urban planning, Rebekah brings both vision and precision to city leadership—advancing long-term strategies through thoughtful, results-driven implementation. She led Kalamazoo’s 10-year strategic visioning process, engaging more than 4,000 residents in an inclusive effort to shape the city’s future. Rebekah also serves on the 100 Mile Coalition with the University of Notre Dame’s Housing & Community Regeneration Initiative, collaborating with peer communities to address shared challenges in housing, zoning, transportation, and economic development.
